
General Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern the provision of massage services by Sapphire Coast Muscular Therapy ("SCMT"). By booking a massage or purchasing a gift voucher from SCMT, you agree to abide by these Terms. They have been established to ensure the provision of high-quality service and as a courtesy to our therapists.
General: Our therapists are professional massage practitioners. Clients are expected to treat therapists with respect, akin to physiotherapists or medical doctors. Prices and services are subject to change without prior notice.

Bookings, Payments, and Deposits:

Bookings made 48+ hours in advance: 50% deposit is required at the time of scheduling your appointment

Bookings made with less than 48 hours notice: Payment in full is required

A mandatory client intake form is required for confirmation.

Accepted methods of payment: Cash or OSKO transfer preferred. Credit/Debit Card transactions incur a 1.4% fee.

Cancellations and Changes to Appointments:- 48+ hours' notice: Full refund minus $40 admin fee.- Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours' notice: Credit for future appointments.- Less than 24 hours' notice: 100% cancellation fee.- Cancellations must be communicated via telephone, email, or online booking software.
Delayed Therapist: Clients will be notified of therapist delays, with massage duration unaffected. Compensation will be offered for significant delays.
Client Delays: Clients must notify SCMT promptly of delays. Efforts will be made to accommodate, but massages may end at the scheduled time.
Therapist Cancellation: Clients will be notified of therapist cancellations and offered rescheduling. Payments for canceled sessions will be credited or refunded upon request.
Gift Vouchers: Non-refundable; cannot be exchanged for cash. Special offers or discounts do not apply.
Client Conduct:- Proper hygiene is required.- Clients must wear underwear.- SCMT reserves the right to terminate sessions for harassment, including but not limited to harassment of a sexual nature, with immediate effect and forfeiture of payment in full.- Towel draping will be used for privacy.- Clients should communicate discomfort or needs.
Health Conditions: Clients must disclose health conditions or medications. Clients with medical conditions should consult their doctor before booking.

Additional Terms & Conditions Mobile Services
Punctuality and Personal Hygiene:
Please ensure you are organised and on time for your scheduled appointment.
Prior to your session, ensure good personal hygiene practices are observed.
Parking Arrangements:
Ensure there is accessible vehicle parking available at your premises for the therapist's convenience.
Pet Protocol
Pets should be securely locked up and not allowed to roam freely during the massage session.
Clear Pathway Access:
Maintain a clear path leading to your front door, free from obstacles, to facilitate the therapist's arrival.
Dedicated Massage Space:
Allocate a clear space for setting up the massage table, ensuring it is free from pets, obstacles, and potential hazards.
Room Temperature:
We recommend setting the room temperature at a comfortable level for yourself.
Scented Products:
Avoid using scented candles and incense, as the therapist may have allergies.

Smoking and Vaping:
Refrain from smoking cigarettes or vaping in the presence of your therapist.

Respect for Time:
Please respect the therapist's schedule and be mindful that they may need to move on promptly to the next appointment.

Non-Adherence Policy:
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the therapist's right to cancel the booking.
In such cases, the full payment for the appointment will be forfeited.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by Sapphire Coast Muscular Therapy (we, us or our) via the website located at www.sapphirecoastmassage.com.au (Website).

a) We may collect Personal Information from you whenever you input such information into the Website, related app or provide it to Us in any other way.
b) We may also collect cookies from your computer which enable us to tell when you use the Website and also to help customise your Website experience. As general rule, however, it is not possible to identify you personally from our use of cookies.
c ) We generally don’t collect Sensitive Information, but when we do, we will comply with the preceding paragraph.
d) Where reasonable and practicable we collect your Personal Information from you only. However, sometimes we may be given information from a third party, in cases like this we will take steps to make you aware of the information that was provided by a third party.
4. Purpose of collection
a) We collect Personal Information to provide you with the best service experience possible on the Website and keep in touch with you about developments in our business.
b) We customarily only disclose Personal Information to our service providers who assist us in operating the Website. Your Personal Information may also be exposed from time to time to maintenance and support personnel acting in the normal course of their duties.
c) By using our Website, you consent to the receipt of direct marketing material. We will only use your Personal Information for this purpose if we have collected such information direct from you, and if it is material of a type which you would reasonably expect to receive from use. We do not use sensitive Personal Information in direct marketing activity. Our direct marketing material will include a simple means by which you can request not to receive further communications of this nature, such as an unsubscribe button link.
5. Security, Access and correction
a) We store your Personal Information in a way that reasonably protects it from unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure. When we no longer require your Personal Information for the purpose for which we obtained in, we will take reasonable steps to destroy and anonymise or de-identify it. Most of the Personal Information that is stored in our client files and records will be kept for a maximum of 7 years to fulfill our record keeping obligations.
b) The Australian Privacy Principles:
(i) permit you to obtain access to the Personal Information we hold about you in certain circumstances (Australian Privacy Principle 12); and
(ii) allow you to correct inaccurate Personal Information subject to certain exceptions (Australian Privacy Principle 13).

6. Complaint procedure
If you have a complaint concerning the manner in which we maintain the privacy of your Personal Information, please contact us as on the contact details set out at the bottom of this policy. All complaints will be considered by Rachel Love and we may seek further information from you to clarify your concerns. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
7. Overseas transfer
Your Personal Information may be transferred to recipients located in the EU. EU has data protection laws which protect Personal Information in a way which is at least substantially similar to the Australian Privacy Principles, and there will be mechanisms available to you to enforce protection of your Personal Information under that overseas law. In addition, please note that personal and sensitive medical information included in Client Intake forms the data will be stored in Australia in line with Government regulations. In the circumstances, we do not require the overseas recipients to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and we will not be liable for a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles if your Personal Information is mishandled

Only your clinician has access to your medical data. PatientNotes.app is compliant with the
Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act. Our information management systems are
HIPAA and GDPR-compliant, with comprehensive security systems guaranteeing that your
data protection is our top priority. It will be removed off servers within 30 days or your
practitioner can manually delete it at any time.

All data is encrypted, securely, and confidentially stored on servers located within Australia to
comply with local jurisdiction requirements.

Data Usage

Conversations are transcribed simultaneously while they happen and are accessible only by
your clinician.
